Western medicine helps us understand the biochemistry of this transition.
Chinese medicine offers a deeper map of transformation — one that honours the body, the emotions, the spirit and the seasons of a woman’s life.

And beneath both of them, your body already knows.

This immersion brings these worlds together into one grounded, deeply human experience guided with compassion and with someone who can support you in listening to what your body is asking for.

The Journey: Softening into Your Next Becoming

Week 1 — Water — Returning to Yourself

We begin by slowing down.

The exhaustion that sleep does not fix. The nervous system that cannot fully settle. The fear and overstimulation beneath the surface.

Through somatic work, qigong, breath and nervous system support, we begin rebuilding safety in the body.

Week 2 — Wood — Moving What Is Stuck

Once the body feels safer, energy can begin to move again.

We work with anger, frustration, pressure and the exhaustion of holding everything together through force.

Boundaries. Clarity. What is yours to carry and what is not.

 Week 3 — Fire — Rekindling Aliveness

When safety and movement return, so can joy.

We explore connection, pleasure, self-expression and the parts of you that have gone quiet beneath stress and responsibility.

 Feeling alive again.

Week 4 — Earth — Nourishing the Centre

Perimenopause asks for a different relationship with nourishment.

Food. Rhythm. Rest. Receiving support. Community.

Learning to stop abandoning yourself while caring for everyone else.

Week 5 — Metal — Releasing What No Longer Fits

Now we begin letting go.

Old identities. Old coping strategies. Old expectations of who you thought you had to be.

Grief. Breath. Space. Refinement.

You are not becoming less yourself. You are becoming more true.

Week 6 — Integration — Your Next Season

We bring the five elements together into your personal map moving forward.

A closing ceremony. A full five element qigong practice. A reflection on what is ending and what is ready to begin.

Who I Am

I am Julie, an integrative women’s health practitioner with a PhD in molecular biology and oncology, alongside training in Chinese medicine, nutrition, somatic practice and qigong.

For years, I studied the body through science and research.

But since 2013, I realised information alone was not enough. I needed a wider understanding of what life and its transitions were asking physically, emotionally and personally.

Over time, I found myself drawn toward approaches that helped women feel more connected to their bodies rather than at war with them.

I created this immersion to bring those pieces together into one space: science, nervous system support, ancient wisdom, embodiment, rest, movement and community.

A space where women can feel supported, understood and less alone in this transition.
